Lionsteel
Die italienische Stadt Maniago ist berühmt für die Stahlverarbeitung und ist Sitz von Herstellern von Messern, Scheren und den Klingen selbst für namhafte Messerfirmen. Es ist auch die Heimat des Messerherstellers Lionsteel, der zunächst nur Klingen produzierte, später aber auch komplette Messer, sowohl feststehende als auch Taschenmesser, anbot und allmählich an Popularität gewann, so dass die Marke heute in Europa und den USA bekannt ist.
Die jetzige Firma Lionsteel produziert Messer von höchster Qualität, die verwendeten Materialien sind die modernsten und die Mechanik an den Taschenmesser ist zuverlässig, alle Komponenten werden ausschließlich in Italien hergestellt. Die Klingen sind aus bewährten Stählen - Niolox, D2, M 390, auch Damaszenerstahl, die Griffe können aus natürlichen Materialien wie Holz und Geweih oder aus strapazierfähigem G - 10, Micarta, Aluminium und Titan hergestellt werden. Taschenmesser lassen sich leicht mit Daumenpins oder der inzwischen beliebten schnellen Flipper-Öffnung öffnen. Das Unternehmen bietet eine breite Palette von Modellen, Lionsteel Messer eignen sich für das tägliche Tragen in der Hosentasche, finden Verwendung bei der Jagd, wenn in der Natur wandern und wird auch die Sammler ansprechen.
